Marble popper games - the basics

Marble popper games combine the basic skills of matching and shooting and turn them into an addicting game. What with Tumblebugs, the Luxor titles, and DragonStone, there's plenty of fun and adventure to enjoy!

Basic marble popping play involves a line of different colored marbles starts looping around the screen, and it's your job to match, create, or blast a group of three or more marbles of the same color by accurately shooting correctly colored marbles. Once you've matched up the marbles correctly, they will usually explode and be removed.

Having removed all the marbles in one level, you move onto the next. Gameplay becomes ever more demanding, but as your skill develops, you'll be able to effectively use the extra tools at your disposal - such as power-ups or extra boosts delivered by a variety of objects that you can catch as they burst from the popped marbles.

Of course, the marbles aren't always marbles as such, but can appear as bugs, or gems, or decorated to suit the theme of the game, which often takes place in an imaginative world where you must fulfil some sort of task.
