Escape from Victorian Room

Escape from Victorian Room is a fairly easy room escape game - try it now, and check out my walkthrough if you get stuck!

Yes - I don't know if I just had a bit of luck, but this game didn't take too long to play at all! As usual, you collect a set of items, some of them hidden objects - then work out what to do with them and escape the room.

The cosy Victorian touch to this game is nice - although how your typical Victorian houswife would react to the way you leave the room is open to debate ;)

I hope you've spent at least fifteen minutes on this game so far. If not - you've no business reading this part of the page - go on, try it again!

Have you collected everything you need to blast your way out of the room yet?

OK - well, if you're sure... then here's how I got out:

1. On the opening frame, click the wooden chest to open, then click around the inside front right panel near the front bolt to reveal a false bottom - collect the yellow pearl.
2. Zoom in to the top of the wardrobe and collect the gunpowder.
3. Collect the brush from the statue on the bottom right of the cabinet next to the clock...
4. ...and the hands of the clock too.
5. Now grab a candle from the candelabra.
6. Zoom in on the bottom of the curtains, there's a pair of scissors hidden under the right curtain.
7. Select the scissors, then clip a tassle from the edge of the carpet.
8. Now zoom in on the fireplace. Select the clock hands and use them to pick up a hot coal from the fire.
9. Select the coal. Go to the train set. Put the hot coal in the engine of the right hand train.
10. Now put the yellow pearl in the engine too - it will come out of the funnel - collect that black pearl.
11. Off we go to the cannon ornament. Put the gunpowder and the black pearl into the barrel of the cannon.
12. Select the brush and use it to push everything down nicely (no, I've never fired a cannon in my life...)
13. Put the tassle into the tube at the back of the cannon to make your fuse.
14. Select the candle, light the fuse... and... boom! You're out!
