Avalon Escape

Avalon Escape is a fun puzzle room escape - tease your brain and escape the dungeon!

This game may make you struggle a bit, although it's not so difficult. Collect hidden items, puzzle out how they combine, discover what you're supposed to do with them all and voila! You're out!

I've put my walkthrough under the game, but as always - no peeking unless you've tried it... for at least thirty minutes for this one, I'd say.

Game walkthrough

So - you're stuck in the dungeon. Really stuck.

We'll start off by collecting a few things:

Items to collect:

• a hammer from the bottom spoke of the wheel
• a crown from the queen chess piece closest to you
• nine shields from around the walls of the dungeon
• a steel bar
• the letter X from the wooden box - plug in the shapes you see on the crown to open the box
• an ax (or axe if you like that spelling!) from behind the suit of armor
• a ram's head from the throne
• a red ruby from the gray picture - click on the ram's head, click on the pink spot on the pic, and the ruby appears
• a candle from the table
• wood for the fire - click on the ax, click on the left hand barrel, and you get your wood

Place the shields on the wall

Zoom in to the nine shield holders above the wheel. Place each shield in its correct spot. Look at the first letter of each shield. Which letter is missing?

Correct - an X to make the world Excalibur! So click on the X, and click on the blank shield. You'll hear the stone in front of the throne rumbling...

Make the sword

Go to the fireplace. Click on the wood and place it in the center. Light the fire with the candle.

Click on the steel bar. Click on the fire. The metal burns hot. Click on the bar and put it on the anvil.

Click on the hammer and hit the bar. It changes into a sword. Cool it off by dunking it into the remaining barrel.

Click on the ruby to put it into the sword. Go to the throne, click on the sword, then click on the stone where the sword goes in.

And that's it! The crown remains with you - congratulations!
