Here's a slithery, slidey 4x4 game that needs light handling of the arrow keys and a competitive spirit!
Pitted against four other competitors, you drive through a variety of track environments: a city, a swamp,
an ice run, a forest, desert - and even a giant's body!
Can you get through the first level on your first attempt? Try it now - more tips below.
Rally style 4x4 game - practice makes perfect!
4x4 game tips
Customize
Customize your 4x4's roof, body and bed section at the start of the game. My tip? Make it all red - get that rally rush screaming at your brain cells to beat the heck out of the other racers! No joy with the red? Calm things down and beat the lot with green, easier on the eye.
Handle with care
The handling isn't exactly easy in this 4x4 game. The slightest extra touch of that arrow key will send your auto angling off course and letting the other vehicles past - if they're not already laps ahead of you!
Got another competitor trying to overtake? Get in front and block them. Unfortunately, you can't bump them off the track.
Cutting corners
Use the sides of the track to your advantage - angle your 4x4 to bounce off the edge of the track to get round corners, particularly if you're going at speed.
Better still, slow down before corners - stop pressing that "up" button before the bend and touch lightly on the appropriate left/right arrow to skim neatly round the corner.
Combine these two strategies for best results!
Keep your eye on the score board
This shows you where you are on the track compared to the other racers, helps you anticipate bends when you're playing an unfamiliar level, and you can check out your time and lap number.
Winning or losing
You have to place in the top three to move onto the next part of the game. If you're fourth or fifth - sorry - it's back to the first track - Icelandic Run!
